Sá chi liễu ngõ hoa tường,
Lầu xanh lại bỏ ra phường lầu xanh,
Lại càng dơ dáng dại hình,
Đành thân phận thiếp ngại danh giá chàng,
Thương sao cho vẹn thì thương,
Tính sao cho vẹn mọi đường thì vâng,
Sinh rằng hay nói đè chừng,
Lòng đây lòng đấy chưa từng hay sao ?
Đường xa chớ ngại Ngô Lào,
Trăm điều hãy cứ trông vào một ta.

Đã gần chi có điều xa,
Đá vàng đã quyết phong ba cũng liều,
Cùng nhau căn vặn đến điều,
Chỉ non thề biển nặng gieo đến lời,
Nỉ non đêm ngắn tình dài,
Ngoài hiên thỏ đã non đoài ngậm gương,
Mượn điều trúc viện thừa lương,
Rước về hãy tạm dấu nàng một nơi,
Chiến hòa sắp sẵn hai bài,
Cậy tay thầy thợ mượn người dò la.

Bắn tin đến mặt Tú Bà,
Thua cơ mụ cũng cầu hòa dám sao,
Rõ ràng của dẫn tay trao,
Hoàn lương một thiếp thân vào cửa công,
Công tư đôi lẽ đều xong,
Gót tiên phút đã thoát vòng trần ai,
Một nhà sum hợp trúc mai,
Cùng sâu nghỉa bể càng dài tình sông,
Hương càng đượm lửa càng nồng,
Càng sôi vẻ ngọc càng lồng màu sen.

Nửa năm hơi tiếng vừa quen,
Sân ngô cành bích đã chen lá vàng,
Giậu thu vừa nẩy giò sương,
Gối yên đã thấy xuân đường đến nơi,
Phong lôi nổi trận bời bời,
Nặng lòng e ấp tính bài phân chia,
Quyết ngay biện bạch một bề,
Dạy cho má phấn lại về lầu xanh,
Thấy lời khiêm huấn rành rành,
Đánh liều Sinh mới lấy tình nài kêu.

Que lui importe le sort d’un saule qui pousse sur le chemin et d’une fleur qui éclot sur un mur ?
Retirée par vous du ruisseau je serais alors rejetée dans le ruisseau. Et davantage j’aurais cet air effronté et confus des gens qu’on a remis à leur place. Pour mois cela importerait peu j’en conviens mais je crains que cela ne fasse du tort à votre réputation. Ayez donc pitié de moi je m’en rapporte entièrement à votre générosité.
Prenez vos dispositions pour que tout soit en ordre parfait alors je serais à vos ordres.

Ensemble ils se dirent et se redirent toutes ces choses jusqu’à épuisement.
Ils se jurèrent fidélité perpétuelle en prenant à témoins les montagnes et les océans.
Et ainsi ils causèrent ensemble toute la nuit trop courte pour tant de choses qu’ils avaient à se dire.
Dehors la lune commençait à engager son disque dans les montagnes de l’Ouest.
Prétextant une villégiature dans quelque pavillon de bambou.
Il emmena la belle et la cacha en un lieu à lui.
La guerre ou la paix ? Il se prépara alors à l’une ou l’autre des deux éventualités.

Dans les haies d’automne les chrysanthèmes venaient de montrer leurs bourgeons.
